A School Sport Partnership is a group of schools working together to develop PE and sport opportunities for all young people. The Eastern Warwickshire School Sport Partnership was launched in September 2004 and is made up of 6 secondary schools, 1 special school and 35 primary / infant / junior schools.
The PE and Sport Strategy for Young People (PESSYP) aims to get more children and young people taking part in high quality PE and sport, through the delivery of the five hour offer.
The strategy is delivered through the School Sport Partnership which is aiming for 5 to 16 year olds to have access to 5 hours of PE and sport and for 16 to 19 year olds to have access to 3 hours of PE and sport.
