Qualifications
Who can become a Sports Leader?
Students as young as 9 years old can gain nationally recognised qualifications in
Sports Leadership.

SPORTS LEADERS UK AWARDS - British Sports Trust
Anyone can do a Sports Leader Award, as long as they are 9 or older and have some get up and go. You don't need to be a sporting superstar to get involved. No qualifications are required to start the course, and there are no exams to sit at the end. Sports Leader Awards get you involved in learning by doing. You actually lead sports and physical activity as a volunteer as part of the course. You learn how to organise and motivate yourself and other people, and improve your communication skills. A Sports Leader Award is a nationally recognised qualification and can help you get a job or get into further education.

Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership ( 14 yrs + )
Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Award in Community Sports Leadership ( 16 yrs + )
